The signs are there.

You might already see them.

You might be in denial

You may even be avoiding them.

The idea of pausing, let alone resting, might force you to realise how tired you really are…

And then what?

In a world that celebrates forward motion and productivity as a sign of worthiness and success and, and, and…

This is your Monday reminder that you aren’t a machine.

That you matter more than any task before you.

You can convince yourself to keep going, you can fight it for a while, until you can’t.

Let that not be you.

As you look across the week, rather than race🏃‍♂️ pressure🔛 and push yourself to be all go, go, go…⏱️ 

STOP ⛔

Give yourself permission, take *at least* 5 minutes time out, periodically throughout the day.

💚Reconnect with yourself💚
🔸Go someplace quiet. Rest your eyes. Listen to your breathing.
🔸Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, exhale slowly for a count of 4 (x3)
🔸Step outside. Get a dose of blues, greens and sunny yellows ☀️

Our ways of being serve us best when, they are *human* ways of being.

If you recognise you have stopped stopping – consider this your reminder to pay attention to your needs.
